The Presidency wants the United Kingdom, United States and European Union to desist from meddling in the internal affairs of the nation.
The U.K, U.S and E.U, had on Saturday expressed concerns over the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen on Friday.
They also revealed their doubts over the commitment of the Nigerian government to ensuring the 2019 elections are free, fair and credible.
In a statement released by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity, Garba Shehu, the presidency said;
“NIGERIA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO BE INSULATED FROM SUGGESTIONS AND OR INTERFERENCE WITH RESPECT TO WHOLLY INTERNAL AFFAIRS AND COMMENDS INTERNATIONAL LAWS, CUSTOMS AND NORMS THAT MANDATE AND REQUIRE NATIONS AND THE COMITY TO RESPECT THIS PREROGATIVE TO ALL.”
President Buhari had on Friday sworn-in Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad as Acting.CJN after suspending Justice Onnoghen.
