Chemical products and other valuables worth millions of naira were razed by an inferno in AMIGO’s products factory, Ikeja in Lagos on Saturday.
According to eyewitness, the fire started at the drivers unit at exactly 1:30pm.
Another witness says the fire resulted from a technical fault in the building and gradually spread beyond one office.’

Speaking in a telephone interview with TVC News, the general manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Adesina Tiamiyu, said the cause of the inferno is yet to be established, but his men are working hard to put out the fire and prevent if from consuming the entire factory.
