The Independent electoral commission has released the list for the Governorship, State assembly and FCT area council elections.
There are 1,066 candidates for the Governorship elections, 14,583 candidates for the State Assembly elections and 806 for the FCT Area Council elections.
That is according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
INEC released the final list of candidates for the forthcoming governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections coming up on March 2nd, on its website, Thursday.

The Commission recognised Sen. Buruji Kashamu as the governorship candidate of the the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Ogun.
No candidates of Nigeria’s governing party, APC, were listed for Rivers and Zamfara states.
