Suspected bandits in Zamfara state have killed the sister of Senator Kabiru Marafa’a , the Lawmaker representing Zamfara central at the House of assembly.
The bandits also kidnapped her husband. His aide, Abubakar Tsafe, who confirmed this report said the bandits attacked the residence of the senator’s sister located at Ruwan Bore on Tuesday.
He said the suspected bandits numbering about 100 set the village on fire after raiding it.
Mr Tsafe said at the time of issuing the statement, the senator’s in-law had not been found.

The senator has, on many occasions ,expressed concern about the high level of insecurity in the state.
