President Muhammadu Buhari has implored voters in Gombe State to give him a mandate for another four years. The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate said he needs more time to consolidate on the previous four years.
Thousands of residents of Gombe came out to welcome President Buhari and the APC campaign train.
The National Chairman of the APC formally received some political heavyweights who left the PDP for APC. One of those is a grassroots politician who was the director general of the PDP campaign organisation in Gombe.
In his speech which was in Hausa, President Buhari formerly endorsed the governorship and senatorial candidates of the APC in Gombe State. He also asked voters to keep faith in his party.
This is the first time President Buhari would be visiting Gombe since the 2015 presidential election in which he got eighty-two percent of votes.
