Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson has announced a one hundred percent increase in the allowances of corps members, and also presented a cheque of N50m ( fifty million naira) for the construction of an NYSC secretariat in the state.
Governor Seriake Dickson was special guest at the Opening and Swearing n ceremony of Batch “A” Corps Members at the National Youth Service Corps Orientation Camp in Kaiama, Kolokuma/Opokuma Council Area.
The Bayelsa Governor also announced the release of fifty million naira for the building of a secretariat for the NYSC in Yenagoa.
Governor Dickson fulfilled his promise with the presentation of a cheque of fifty million naira to the coordinator and officials of the NYSC.
