Estate surveyors and Valuers in Nigeria have said that the nation can boast a stronger infrastructure profile if compliance with laws guiding construction are adhered to.
They made the call at the annual general meeting of the Institution.

It’s a situation that prompted a recent call by Minister of Power, Works & Housing, Babatunde Fashola, for professionals in the building sector to provide housing and property data in the country.
At their annual meeting, professional estate surveyors and valuers are taking stock of recent events in the sector and are resolved to deal with the challenges head on.
They said the first and major step in putting an end to the the ugly trend, is for Nigerians to imbibe discipline and comply with laws guiding property development.
