The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Professor Babagana Umara Zullum of the All Progressives Congress, winner of Borno state governorship election.
He polled 1, 175, 440 votes to defeat his closest rival Mohammed Alkali Imam of the Peoples Democratic Party, who polled 66, 115 votes.
