Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets finished their campaign at the 2019 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations on a disappointing note after they went down to a 2-1 defeat against 10-man Angola in the third-place match at the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam on Saturday.
Manu Garba’s lads dominated possession in the game, but were once again let down by their inability to score goals.
Wisdom Ubani and Ibraheem Jabaar all wasted good opportunities for the Golden Eaglets early in the game.
They were made to pay for those misses when Andrea Capita put the Angolans ahead from a well placed header two minutes before the half hour mark.

While Zito scored the winning goal for Angola four minutes after the break.
