The Nigeria Air force has rescued a kidnap victim in Kaduna state.
Though he was freed with a broken arm, he is happy to be alive having spent days with his abductors.
The suspects had demanded a ransom of one hundred million naira, which after intense negotiations had been beaten down to ten million naira.
The victim was in the custody of his captors for days while negotiations were ongoing on the huge ransom of one hundred million naira, placed on his head
Idris Abubakar revealed that he had been with them for three days without food or water.
His release came following a routine patrol by air force personnel in the state.
Both the victim and the suspected kidnappers have been handed over to the police for further interrogation.

In the meantime, Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmed Abdulrahman has kept to his promise of remaining on the Kaduna Abuja highway for a week.
The move according to him is to build the confidence of his officers and men combing the bushes for bandits.
He says they are already recording gains against bandits on the road.
Both the Air force and the police say they remain committed to making the state safer for all.
The gains recorded according to senior officers of the security agencies have been products of synergy.
And they pledge to collaborate more in the days ahead.
