Normalcy is gradually returning to fuel stations in Akure, the Ondo state capital, due to the intervention of the task force on petroleum set up by the state government.
The task force is moving round the state capital to ensure that fuel is sold at N145 per litre.
Ayodeji Moradeyo reports that although people are still struggling to get petroleum products in Akure, the State Government has come to the people’s rescue, through its task force on petroleum.
The task force, headed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties, Doyin Odebowale, is moving round to guide against hoarding and extortion.
Odebowale warned that any fuel station caught hoarding the product, would be sealed.
