The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, has charged Nigerian Air Force personnel, to remain resolute in the fight against insurgency and other forms of criminality in the country.
In a statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Ibikunle Daramola, the Air chief commended Officers of the Service for their patriotism, in dealing with security challenges facing the Nation.
In Maiduguri, the C.A.S commissioned a new aircraft technicians’ crew room and a block of 30 single-bedroom accommodation for personnel of the Unit which was named after a fallen hero, Zabesan Hosea, who died in an Mi-35P crash at Girei, Adamawa State in 2014.
Air Marshal Abubakar reaffirmed the commitment of the Force leadership to provide the necessary requirements to effectively prosecute the war.
He also expressed gratitude to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari, for his overwhelming support to the NAF.
