The National Judicial Council has forwarded a report on its reviews of allegations, made by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission against the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, to President Muhammadu Buhari.
NJC declined comment on the allegation of non-declaration of asset against Justice Onnoghen, because the matter is before the court.
Its Director of Information, Soji Oye, said the council will not make public the content of its report until the President is properly briefed due to the sensitive nature.
But since Wednesday, different versions of what the NJC’s report may have recommended have been making the rounds.
