The ongoing Operation YANCIN TAFKI in the Lake Chad area has recorded another success as troops yesterday dealt another blow on Boko Haram terrorists.
The terrorists attacked troops position in Cross Kaura but the gallant soldiers overwhelmed the terrorists, killing thirty nine and recovering several equipment in the counter attack.
20 soldiers who were wounded In Action have been airlifted out of the area of operation and are receiving adequate medical attention.

Two Gun Trucks, two Anti Aircraft Guns, nine AK47 Rifles, one HK21 Rifle and four Rocket Propelled Guns were recovered from the insurgents.
