Nigeria Police Force has launched ‘Operation Puff Adder’ to tackle cases of kidnapping, Cattle rustling and Armed Banditry.
It is made up of hundreds of officers and men of the force.
The operation covers the Kaduna-Abuja highway and adjoining communities extending to Kogi, Katsina, Niger and Zamfara states.
Recall that the force recently combed the bush along Kaduna-Abuja highway in search of the armed bandits terrorising unsuspecting commuters on the road.
