Military Troops in Zamfara said they have now extended their joint Operation called “Habin Kunama Three’ into the hinterlands and have ambushed bandits in the bushes near three villages in the State.
The troops arrested six bandits and recovered two AK 47 Rifles and two motorcycles.
Similarly, troops conquered bandits in Doka and Mutu villages in Gusau after a two-hour gun battle with them.
The bandits who survived the encounter reportedly ran away and abandoned their camps, which the troops destroyed. Also Eighteen suspected informants to the bandits including the village Heads of Doka and Mutu villages were arrested.

The following items were recovered from them… three motorcycles, two Dane guns an two machetes.
