African Action congress has announced the suspension of its presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore at the third national executive committee meeting held in Abuja.
The NEC invoked article 52 of the constitution of the party to remove Sowore as the national chairman of the party for six months also the deputy national chairman and eight other members of the party’s executive committee indicted for anti party activities are also suspended.
Sowore is accused of collecting illegal foreign funds to prosecute his presidential campaigns in contravention of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
