The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has appealed to elderly Nigerians to avoid statements that could undermine peace in the country.
He spoke after an Iftar dinner meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Both men were with the Sultan of Sokoto and the Emir of Kazaure.

And with the inauguration of President Buhari only nine days away, Asiwaju Tinubu enjoined all Nigerians to rally round the president, whom he commended for recognising June 12 as Nigeria’s Democracy Day.
He also took a swipe at the opposition PDP, for making “distractive statements’’.
