The Nigerian Customs Service has intercepted a fully loaded truck of codeine syrup in Lagos.
This incident indicates that drug abuse is still a critical problem and that the mental well being of Nigerians is still being threatened with the relentless importation of dangerous and prohibited drugs.
TVC News Correspondent, Ifunanya Eze reports that barely one month after officers of the Federal Operations Unit zone A intercepted container loads of banned dangerous drug stimulants, Another consignment of prohibited drug is being showcased.
This is not all, The Customs Service also intercepted smuggled vehicles, revealing how smugglers are now devising new methods of smuggling brand new cars and cautioned Nigerians to always verify their vehicle’s document.
