Ekiti State Commissioner for Information and Value Orientation, Muyiwa Olumilua has led a walk against child molestation and abuse in Ado Ekiti.
The walk took off from the popular Mobil Roundabout through the main thoroughfare of the state capital and terminated at the city centre at Fajuyi Park.
The Commissioner told newsmen during the walk that the exercise in collaboration with a non governmental organization would create more awareness about the many programmes of the state government on the rights of children.
The Convener of the walk, Iyimide Sola – Shittu identified child defilement as the prevalent abuse in the state.
