The Senator Representing Lagos Central district, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has empowered twenty constituents with auto rickshaws popularly called Tricycles.
The senator said the project is part of the Federal Government’s Intervention Programme.
TVC’s Ola Awakan reports that one of the donated Auto Rickshaws also known as Tricycles will soon be plying the Tom Jones, Obalende and Idumota roads in Lagos.
One of the drivers, Adejoke Olayinka has been empowered alongside 19 others by Senator Oluremi Tinubu. The young man says he got emotional when he discovered that he would be one of the beneficiaries.
The project is the Youth Empowerment and Skills acquisition scheme YESAS designed by Senator Oluremi Tinubu to put smiles on the faces of her constituents by creating jobs for them.
The project is one of the many programmes created by senator Oluremi Tinubu to touch the lives of indigent constituents in the 13 LGAs and LCDAs within her senatorial district.
