The kidnappers of a thirty-year old lady from the Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi are demanding a ten million naira ransom.
She was abducted from the staff quarters of the school, early Sunday. This is the third of such incident in the Polytechnic this year.
Our Correspondent in Plateau Funom Joshua reports that residents of the Polytechnic staff quarters said their safety is no longer guaranteed after three successive kidnap incidents.
They are appealing to the government to improve on security security measures in the area

Insecurity on the plateau is not new but the recent dimension of kidnap in a school environment leaves a lot more to be desired.
