Rivers Police Command reacts to trending video of alleged attack on students

The Rivers state Police command has reacted to a video trending on social media which showed an alleged attack on the students and staff of community secondary school, Oroworukwo by student cultists and unknown persons.

All hell had been let loose at the school after a grenade teargas was mistakenly detonated within its premises.

The command said that two students had been taken into custody after complaints were laid by the principal of the school.

The suspects had admitted detonating the teargas cannister but denied knowledge that it was a chemical substance capable of causing panic and tension.
