Troops of 22 Brigade, 7 Division of the Nigerian Army on Operation Hard Strikein collaboration with some members of Civilian JTF, have killed at least seven terrorists and recovered seven riffles on Friday.
The incident occurred in the deserted Fuye and Melere villages of Borno State.
In a press statement released on Friday by colonel Sagir Musa, the acting director of public relations, Operation Lafiya Dole, the exchange of fire resulted in the killing of 7 terrorists and recovery of 7 Rifles (6 x AK 47 and 1 x FN Rifle).
The statement added that there was no casualty on the part of the NA Soldiers or Civilian JTF.
