The Governor of Borno state Prof Babagana Umara Zullum has appointed a new secretary to the state Government and special advisers to run the affairs of the state.
The occasion was held at the council Chambers of the Government House Maiduguri
In attendance were the new appointees, permanent secretaries, party stalwarts and heads of security agencies.
The Secretary to the state Government and special adviser on media were reappointed while 2 new media advisers were also appointed by the state Governor
After the swearing in the new appointees, the Governor urged the secretary to the state Government and the special advisers to run with the vision of the new administration
He also cautioned civil servants on the need to eradicate late coming to work and corruption within the civil service
The new secretary of the Government of Borno state delivered a vote of thanks on behalf of the new appointees
The new appointees have expressed commitment to speeding up the 10 point agenda of the new Government
This will greatly enhance the governors desire to quicken developmental strides in the state
