The consumption of petroleum products across Nigeria increased by about 30 million litres within one month,
The figure rose from 1.33 billion litres consumed in February this year to 1.36 billion litres in March.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation recorded a total sale of N174.62 billion within this period
Data from the corporation’s latest monthly financial and operations report for March 2019 further stated that the March sales figure was higher than the N168.65 billion recorded in February this year.
A further products breakdown indicated that the March volume comprised 1.29 billion litres of petrol, 23 million litres of Dual Purpose Kerosene and 47 million litres for the diesel component.
