The trial of former supervisor of Chrisland School, Ajah, Mr Adenekan Adegboyega took a fresh dimension on Tuesday as a Lagos High Court revoked his bail.
The trial judge, Justice Sybil Nwaka revoked the bail after Mr Adegboyega giving evidence before the court. Led in evidence by his lawyer, Mr Olatunde Adejuyigbe SAN, the defendant denied the allegations of sexually abusing the 2 year old girl, describing the allegation as incorrect.
In his defence, Adegboyega said: “It is strange, shocking, and embarrassing. Totally dirty and embarrassing”.
Asked whether he showed his manhood to the victim, he said “it is not correct, and it is embarrassing to be accused of such allegation”.
In revoking the bail, Justice Nwaka said he was afraid for flight reasons. “The accused person may not come back tomorrow. The judge thereafter ordered the defendant to be remanded in Kirikiri Maximum prison.
