The fifth Nasarawa State House of Assembly passed a total of forty bills and made eighty resolutions since its inception in 2015.
Speaker of the house, Ibrahim Balarabe, disclosed this at the valedictory session organised to commemorate the end of its legislative duties.
Godwin Agwam reports that the lawmakers were inaugurated in June 2015, and were able to pass a total of 40 bills and 80 resolutions.
Prominent among the bills are the Nasarawa State criminal Justice law, the Nasarawa State Geographic Information System law, the Nasarawa State Youth Empowerment Scheme law and a host of others.
Residents of the state believe their tenure was purposeful, describing their laws as having direct bearing on the people of the state
