The appalling state of the Mile 2 – Badagry expressway is a growing source of concern to many Nigerians living along that axis.
The bad road constitutes stress for members of the public and a major deterant to businesses in the area.
Along that stretch of road is situated the popular Alaba international market, Trade Fair market, Odunade/ Coker building materials market and Iyana Oba food market.
Along this same road is the Lagos State University (LASU) and various beaches like the snake island beach at Satelite town.

This is also a West African road that connects Nigeria to neighbouring countries like Ghana and the republic of Benin.
