Students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko have been banned from holding any form of congress inside the campus as they resume academic activities after a mid semester break.
In a statement by acting Registrar of the school, Ade Akinfemiwa, on Sunday ,the school authorities warned that such congress will not be allowed within the Campus.
The management assured all law abiding students of adequate security, stressing that law enforcement agencies are fully on ground to prevent breakdown of law and order
The management added that serious sanctions await any one who plans or attempts to disrupt the peace on campus..
The ban of any form Congress was not unconnected with last month protest by the students over hike in tuition fees.
The students during the protest demonstrated their anger on campus, disrupting academic activities
