The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has congratulated the incoming NNPC Group Management Director, Mele Kolo Kyari.
The OPEC Secretary General, Mohammed Barkindo, said in a statement that the appointment is a testament of the exemplary record and exceptional performance of Mr. Kyari’s service to the Nation Oil corporation.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative has welcomed the appointment of Mele Kolo Kyari as the incoming GMD of NNPC.

The NEITI Executive Secretary, Waziri Adio says Mr Kyari is a well-known transparency champion who shares the principles that underline the work of NEITI on good governance of the oil and gas industry.
