PENGASSAN to set up Trust Fund for family of deceased president

Nigeria’s senior oil workers union has promised to set up a trust fund for the children of its deceased President, Francis Johnson.

Acting President, Frank Esanubi, said this when the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Willian Alo, led the management of the Ministry on a condolence visit to PENGASSAN office in Abuja.

Mr. Esanubi said the initiative would be put in place in collaboration with other social partners to fund the education and training of Mr. Johnson ‘s children.

PENGASSAN said the arrangements would be made known to the social partners in due course and assured that it would do everything possible to maintain the industrial peace that Mr. Johnson left behind.
