Poubeni Ogun has been re-elected Chairman of the Bayelsa state Football Association in a contest supervised by Ibrahim Gusau, the Chairman of Chairmen of the Nigeria Football Federation.
The main contender and FIFA Match Agent Ebi Egbe has however, rejected the outcome of the election.
Ovieteme George reports that one after the other, the seventeen accredited delegates entered the venue of the election to vote for their candidates with FIFA Match Agent Ebi Egbe and Poubeni Ogun as the two contenders for the Chairmanship position of the Bayelsa Football Association.
The incumbent was declared winner with twelve out of seventeen votes.
Members of the Nigeria Football Federation and the Confederation of African Football witnessed the election.
