A major contender for the position of Senate President, Ahmed Lawan appears to be coasting to victory with the kind of support his campaign team said he is getting.
They have even released figures to back up claims of a likely emergence of Senator Ahmed Lawan as Senate President.
The numbers are in and the ahmed lawan senate presidency campaign team said they now hold the Aces in the highly anticipated contest for the highest office in the 9th national assembly.
Out of 62 APC senators elect, 60 of them have agreed to support Senator Ahmed Lawan. The only senator elect of the young progressives party is also onboard.

Already he has unveiled a proposed legislative agenda for the 9th senate with a plan to run a national assembly that works for Nigeria.
