Two persons have been killed and houses destroyed in Shagari local government area of Sokoto state following a windstorm.
Director-General of the Emergency Management Agency, Ibrahim Haliru, says seven villages were affected by the disaster.
Property worth millions of naira were also destroyed and several persons are now displaced.
