The Senator that assaulted a female attendant at an adult toy shop has been granted bail by a Magistrate Court sitting in Zuba, on the outskirts of Abuja.
Senator Elisha Abbo’s bail is in the sum of five million naira and two sureties in like sum who must have verifiable addresses within Abuja.
Senior Magistrate, Abdullahi Ilellah, adjourned the matter until the 22nd of July for hearing.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Senate has set up an ad-hoc committee to investigate the case. Six men and two women were chosen as members of the committee which will be headed by Senator Sam Egwu.
