No fewer than 60 Ex-Militants in Niger Delta have received empowerment tools to start up businesses and help boost the economy of the region.
This is part of engagement phase for the ex-militants, by the Amnesty Office in Warri that distributed Welding tools and household items alongside funds for them to start life.
TVC News Ikenna Amechi reports that Esther Oghenewarie, a mother of 2 from Delta State, is one of the beneficiaries of the empowerment programme. Mrs oghenewarie was given groceries, a refrigerator, generator, and some cash fund to begin her business and assist her family.
She, like 59 others here also received these empowerment tools making them proud owners of businesses with full registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
