More groups have joined in the call for former Speaker of the House Of Assembly Konbowei Benson to vie for the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of the Governorship election in the state.
To demonstrate their confidence in Konbowei Benson as a public servant ,the ” SILGA Dynamic Movement ” also donated one million naira to assist in the purchasing the Expression Of Interest And Nomination Forms.
Three – time member of the Bayelsa House Of Assembly,Konbowei Benson was elected Speaker in the fourth and fifth Assembly.
Known for various empowerment programmes in Southern Ijaw Constituency 4 and even beyond,youths of the Local Government Area thronged his private residence to urge him to throw his hat in the ring as the Governorship primary of the Peoples Democratic Party draws near.
The Korokorosei – born politician responds to the call to contest the Governorship election.
