Suspected Boko Haram insurgents have killed an aid worker and a driver in an attack in the outsketch of Maiduguri in Borno state.
In a statement by Action Against Hunger which the victims works for, the incident happened as its convoy was heading to Damasak in Borno state.
The statement also says one of the drivers was killed, two drivers and three health workers are still missing
The attack happened a day after an army commander and some soldiers were killed in an ambush by the insurgents in Yobe state.
In October last year, the Islamic State West Africa Province also executed Hauwa Leman, an aid worker with the International Committee of the Red Cross.
