44 year old Shodipo Oyewumi operates a sachet water Factory at Kilometer 2 Ede road in Ile-Ife.
His factory was inspected in 2014 by officials of the standards Organization of Nigeria SON where he presented a forged laboratory test report on his product to the SON.
His company was shut, and he was asked to pay a fine of 25,000 into the Government’s account for not tendering genuine laboratory test report.
Shodipo Oyewumi also went ahead to produce and present a forged Zenith Bank deposit teller to the SON as evidence of payment.
But he pleaded not guilty to the two count charge preferred against him.
Delivering the judgement, Magistrate Modupe Awodele held that the documents were indeed forged by the convicts.
