The Coalition of Public Interests Lawyers and Advocates (COPA) On Monday wrote to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, asking him to ensure justice is served in the case involving Biodun Fatoyinbo, senior pastor, Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).
Pelumi Olajengbesi, convener of COPA, said in a statement on Monday, July 8, that the group is asking that the matter is not swept under the carpet and also the pastor should be tried in Lagos where the matter was reported rather than transfer the case to Abuja.
Olajengbesi further stated that the coalition would diligently continue to monitor matters as they arise to ensure fairness and justice.
Busola Dakolo filed a petition against Pastor Biodun on June 27, at the office of the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of police in Alagbon, Ikoyi alleging that the clergy molested her.
