Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has declared his asset in excess of N48 billion in both cash and other properties.
He said he made public a copy of his declared assets in order to fulfill all his campaign promises to the people of the state and according to Nigeria’s code of conduct law.
Governor Makinde also encouraged his cabinet members to also declare their assets, according to the law on assumption of office.

He became the first high-ranking public official to do so amongst those that emerged in the last general election.
