The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it has received requests for change of names, dates of birth and others since it announced that it would probe the results of Nigerians and shame those who cheated the system in the last 10 years.
The board says some of the requests it has received were from prominent persons in the society.
JAMB’s Head of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin says the board decided to crosscheck and re-validate the biometrics of past candidates owing to the number of complaints it had received.
According to him, the board has vowed to publish the names of the imposters to serve as deterrent to others as well as stem the antics of professional examination takers.
