The President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan has granted a week extension to adhoc committee set up to investigate the allegation of assault leveled against Senator Elisha Abbo representing Adamawa North on a woman at a sex toy shop in Abuja.
Senator Sam Egwu, chairman of the committee while citing order 43 of the Senate Standing rule pleaded for an extension, adding that the matter is still under judicial consideration and therefore prohibited from public discussion.
