Wolverhampton wanderers emerged champions of Premier League Asia trophy in Shanghai on Saturday .
The game went to penalty shootouts after it ended goalless at the end of 90 minutes.
Rui Patricio saved three penalties while Raheem Sterling missed one in normal time as they defeated Premier League champions Manchester City to claim the Premier League Asia Trophy .
The Portuguese goalkeeper kept out spot kicks from Ilkay Gundogan, David Silva and Lukas Nmecha in the shootout as Nuno Espirto Santo’s side won the four-team pre-season tournament.

The pre-season tournament also featured Newcastle United and West Ham United.
