Human Right lawyer and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, has chided the federal government for constantly disobeying court orders on therelease of the leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky.
Falana, who is also the lead Counsel to the El-Zakzaky group, said this while reacting to the Court judgement in Kaduna which granted the IMN Leader permission to travel to India for medical treatment.
He said the Nigerian state, through its agencies, have constantly defied court orders, thereby, won’t be surprised if the same thing plays out on the recent judgement.
A Kuduna High Court on Monday granted El-Zakzaky permission to travel for medical treatment in India in company of state officials, and expected to return immediately he is certified medically fit.
