Expectations are still high that the Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim El zakzaky and his wife will depart Nigeria to india, for medical attention.
They are at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport in Abuja ahead of their trip
Passengers scheduled to be on the the Emirates aircraft on which he is expected to travel are undergoing routine screening at the moment.
Officials of the department of state service who will accompany the couple on the trip are also with them.
El Zakzaky and his wife were moved from Kaduna to Abuja yesterday afternoon, where they had been in protective custody.
Sources close to the IMN leader say apart from security personnel who are to accompany the sheikh, some family members would also be on the trip.
