The Nigeria Air force has inaugurated the maiden Young Education officers induction course for the year 2019 in Jos the Plateau State Capital.
77 young officers across the country have been selected to participate in the exercise taking place at the Air force military school Jos.
The 77 participants of the 3-week YEOIC would also be intimated with the guiding principles that have enabled the NAF Directorate of Education (DOEDN) to sustain the laudable performance recorded in NAF schools over the years.
The event they have been selected to attend, is the first of its kind to be organized by the Nigeria Air force Directorate of education
It is aimed at providing human and material resources for effective teaching and learning online with global best practices.
While addressing the participants,the guest of honour, Air Officer Commanding Ground Training Command (AOC GTC), Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Idi Amin stated that the course is introduced with a view to equipping junior education officers with the requisite skills and knowledge to make them excel in the performance of assigned tasks.
He also noted that the timing of the course is not only apt but key to developing the professionalism of education officers in the Nigeria Air force.
