The Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps _NSCDC) says it has commenced a psychological assessment of its personnel.
Mrs Christiana Abiakam-Omanu, the NSCDC Commandant in the state, made the disclosure while speaking with newsmen on Tuesday in Akure at the commencement of the exercise
All officers and men of the corps would be checked by experts from the Behavioural Forensic Unit.
Abiakam-Omanu, who explained that the exercise would be conducted between Tuesday and Wednesday, said the exercise is in compliance with directive of the NSCDC commandant-General, Abdullahi Gana.
She added that the exercise is geared towards identifying areas of psycho-social needs of the NSCDC personnel.
