The Joint Special Taskforce in Plateau state has paraded twenty three suspected criminals for different criminal offences within the state.
Some of the suspects are believed to be behind recent violent cult activities within Jos north and some areas in the city.
The suspects were apprehended with various firearms and dangerous weapons which were allegedly used to terrorize citizens in the State.
Out of the 23 suspects paraded, 10 are cult members who also confessed to attacking and killing Chinedu Okoye a shop keeper in Akpata community in Jos north council recently.
The State government through its peace agency is appealing to parents to rise up to their responsibility of checking the activities of their wards which is cited as the cause of recent cult activities in the state.
